BCS Swim School: The Beginning

BCS Swim School:
The Beginning

Twenty-seven years ago

After the birth of our first child, we started working with the Houston Swim Club. They taught us the Phill Hansel philosophy of swim lessons. Phil was the legendary swimming coach at the University of Houston and twice coached the US Olympic teams. His love of swimming and recognition of the need for water safety led to a method that combines a safe and positive environment to achieve personal swimming goals.

The BCS Swim School Plan

In 2019, our family made the decision to bring a world-class swimming lesson facility to Bryan/College Station in order to meet the growing needs of the BCS community. When we couldn’t find an ideal property to lease and build-out, we decided to start from scratch and build exactly what we needed. We’re so excited to be bringing the Phill Hansel philosophy of swim lessons to Bryan/College Station!
